Agreement to These Terms

These terms apply to your use of SodiSchool, a school management platform operated by Sodienics Technology. By creating an account, subscribing to a plan, or using the platform, you agree to them.

Where a school subscribes on behalf of its staff, students and parents, the person accepting these terms confirms they are authorised to do so for that school.

The Service

SodiSchool provides tools for managing students, staff, academics, finance, results and payments, together with a portal for each school and, where enabled, the Result PIN Checker and the Partner Program.

Which features are available to a school depends on the plan it subscribes to. Features may be added, changed or withdrawn as the platform develops; we will not remove a material feature from a paid plan without notice.

Accounts and Access

• Accounts are created by the school for its own administrators, staff, students and parents, or by an individual signing up as a partner.
• You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity carried out under your account.
• Accounts must not be shared, and you must not attempt to access an account, school or record you have not been granted access to.
• Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been compromised.

School Responsibilities

A school using SodiSchool is responsible for:

• The accuracy of the records it enters, including student, staff, fee and result records.
• Deciding who is given an account and what role each account is assigned.
• Having a lawful basis for the information it collects about students, staff and parents, and for informing them as its own obligations require.
• Removing access promptly when a member of staff leaves or a role changes.

Plans, Fees and Billing

• SodiSchool is offered on the Basic, Standard and Premium plans described on the pricing page. The price and inclusions shown there apply at the time of subscribing.
• Plan limits, such as the number of students, apply as stated for each plan.
• A school may move between plans; a change takes effect for the following billing period.
• A subscription may be cancelled at any time, and the plan then runs to the end of the period already paid for.
• Where a refund is offered, the terms stated at the point of purchase apply.
• Prices may change. An existing subscription is not repriced during a period already paid for.

Payments Through the Platform

Schools may collect fees and other payments from students and parents through the platform’s payment gateway.

• Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider and are subject to that provider’s terms.
• The school, not SodiSchool, is responsible for the fees it charges, for its own refund policy, and for resolving disputes with payers.
• Gateway charges, where they apply, are as configured by the school.

Result PINs

Schools using the Result PIN Checker may issue and sell result-checking PINs to their students.

• The school sets the price of its PINs and keeps the income from selling them.
• A PIN grants access to the result of the student it is issued for. Schools should treat PINs as confidential.
• The school is responsible for the accuracy of the results it publishes.

The Partner Program

Partners introduce schools to SodiSchool and earn commission on eligible payments those schools make on the platform.

• Commission is up to 40% of eligible payments, according to the commission structure applicable to your partner account.
• Commission is earned as eligible payments are made, and continues for as long as the associated schools remain active and continue making eligible payments.
• What counts as an eligible payment, and the applicable rate, are as set out for your account and may be updated with notice.
• Withdrawals are subject to the available balance and the withdrawal rules that apply to your account.
• Commission may be withheld or reversed where a payment is refunded, reversed, or found to be fraudulent.
• Partners must represent SodiSchool honestly. Misrepresenting the platform, its pricing, or potential earnings may result in removal from the programme.

Nothing in the Partner Program is a guarantee of income. What a partner earns depends entirely on the eligible payments made by the schools associated with their account.

Acceptable Use

You must not:

• Attempt to access data belonging to another school, branch or user.
• Probe, scan or test the security of the platform without our written permission.
• Interfere with the platform’s operation, or attempt to disrupt access for others.
• Upload malicious code, or content that is unlawful or infringing.
• Use the platform to send unsolicited messages.
• Resell or redistribute access to the platform except as an approved partner.

Data and Content

The records a school enters remain the school’s own. We do not claim ownership of them, and we use them to provide the service as described in our Privacy Policy.

The SodiSchool name, logo, design and software remain ours. Using the service does not transfer any of those rights to you.

Availability and Support

We work to keep SodiSchool available and to keep verified backups of school data. Planned maintenance will be scheduled to limit disruption where reasonably possible.

Support is provided at the level included in your plan. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, and access may occasionally be affected by maintenance or by circumstances outside our control.

Limitation of Liability

The platform is provided on an “as is” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of profits, or for loss arising from records a school itself entered incorrectly. Our total liability in connection with the service is limited to the amount paid for the plan in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the platform at any time and cancel your subscription.

We may suspend or end access where these terms are breached, where fees remain unpaid, or where continued access presents a security or legal risk. Where practical we will give notice and an opportunity to put the matter right first.

On termination, a school may request an export of its data within a reasonable period before it is removed.

Changes to These Terms

These terms will be updated as the platform develops. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and material changes will be brought to the attention of the schools using the platform. Continuing to use SodiSchool after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Nigerian courts.
